As a Pro Shop Employee at Cragun's Legacy Courses, you are essential to the success of our operation, leading the team each shift and ensuring a seamless, exceptional experience for our customers. Your communication, leadership, and dedication to service are vital to the success of the shop and the satisfaction of our guests. By setting the tone for the team and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, you will create a memorable experience for both customers and staff.   • Customer Service: Provide outstanding service by answering customer questions, offering product recommendations, and assisting with any needs to ensure a positive experience.
  • Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure the pro shop is clean, organized, and inviting for customers, contributing to a welcoming environment.
  • Shift Leader: Oversee the team during your shift, ensuring that staff are on task, positioned appropriately, and working efficiently. Lead by example with clear communication and assist as needed.
  • Phone Handling: Answer phone calls promptly when not assisting in-person customers. Book tee times, assist with reservations, and provide helpful information.
  • Cashiering: Process sales transactions, handle cash, credit cards, and receipts accurately. Ensure the register balances correctly and manage the cash drawer.
  • Tee Time Reservations: Manage and assist with booking tee times, ensuring smooth scheduling and customer satisfaction.
  • Sales: Assist customers with purchasing equipment, apparel, accessories, and other merchandise. Promote special offers and sales to boost store revenue.
  • Handle Returns and Exchanges: Process returns and exchanges in accordance with store policies, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Assisting with Events: Help with event setup, tournaments, and clinics, ensuring customers have all the necessary equipment and information for a successful experience.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lead a team and manage shift operations effectively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
  • Comfortable handling physical tasks such as lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
  • Previous experience in golf, retail, or customer service is preferred.
  • Attention to detail and a strong sense of organization.
  • Comfortable handling transactions and managing cash registers.
  • Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Must be at least 16 years of age with a valid driver's license!
