Job description

Under the supervision of the Golf Professional staff, the Outside Golf Services will be responsible for the maintaining of the practice areas, care of member push carts and bags, and the cleaning/storing/staging of riding carts.  
Reports to: Assistant Golf Professionals, Golf Professional 
Supervises: None 
Essential Functions      
•    Ensure golf carts are staged and ready for use, properly charged, and equipped with necessary amenities. 
•    Monitor cart inventory, ensuring carts are clean, in good condition, and appropriately labeled. 
•    Keep the practice facilities (driving range, putting greens, etc.) tidy and organized. 
•    Collect and replace range balls, refill ball dispensers, and maintain accurate ball inventory. 
•    Assist golfers in loading and unloading golf bags onto carts. 
•    Provide assistance with rental clubs and other equipment as needed. 
•    Monitor course activity and communicate any concerns to the golf course management. 
•    Provide exceptional customer service to enhance the overall experience for golfers and guests. 
•    Address any issues or complaints courteously and professionally, seeking resolution where possible. 
•    Coordinate with other staff members, including the golf shop manager, golf professionals, and course maintenance team. 
•    Relay important information about course conditions, upcoming events, and golfer feedback. 
Physical Demands and Work Environment 
•    Lift, push, pull, carry up to 50lbs. 
•    Standing and walking for extended periods of time. 
•    Repetitive motion.

Requirements and Qualifications 
•    Must be at least 16 years of age and possess, at a minimum, a learner’s permit. •    
•    Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor. 
•    Basic knowledge of golf and golf course operations. 
•    Ability to communicate effectively with golfers and staff members. 
•    Physical fitness and ability to lift and carry golf bags, equipment, and range balls. 
•    Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized environment. 
•    Flexibility to work weekday mornings, weekends, holidays, and potentially irregular hours.
