Job description

Compass Pointe Golf Courses is a busy 36-hole golf course which hosts over 150 events/banquets per season. The Banquet Attendant is a key member of the team and is responsible for assisting the Food and Beverage manager in the oversight of golf events/banquets. The Banquet Attendant must be reliable, have excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate on a friendly level. The candidate must have a positive attitude and able to interact with guests in a professional manner. The Banquet Attendant duties include, but are not limited to, setting up the pavilion for guests, preparing and cooking food, and cleaning the pavilion area. Teamwork is essential. Willing to be flexible and able to work holidays and weekends are required. Must be 16 years or older to work.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
  • Knowledge of pertinent health regulations and liquor laws
  • Must be highly organized, efficient and detail oriented.
  • Must have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must have strong service orientation.

Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to the policies and procedures.
  • Assist with banquet set-up and breakdown of tables, decoration, equipment, serving areas and related activities in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Prepping food, running food and serving food
  • Cleaning of the banquet tables, chairs, floors, and equipment
  • Remove all trash from the banquet area.
  • Provide excellent food and beverage service for banquet events/a la carte dining.
  • Perform other duties assigned by Food and Beverage Manager.
