Job description

Starting Wage: $18.00 hour
This Golf Course Attendant s Team Member is responsible for working closely with Golf Shop Team Members and Groundskeepers to provide backup in multiple operations of Ocean Dunes Golf Links.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Meets and greets golfers and guests in a friendly, courteous and professional manner providing assistance and advice as needed.
  • Explains golf products and promotions while remaining knowledgeable on Three Rivers Casino and Resort offering and promotions off property.
  • Verifies golfers and guests are aware of applicable golf course rules, regulations and policies in a professional and respectful manner.
  • Aids other Golf Team Members in responsibilities including prepping and maintaining the golf cart fleet, golf shop operations, golf simulation procedures, and brush/debris removal.
  • Assists in the maintenance of overgrown areas on the golf course and bunkers.
  • Learns and assists with golf course set up and closing tasks.
  • Remains knowledgeable on food and beverage operations and all point of sale operations in the Golf Shop.
  • Other duties as directed by management.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, Team Members may be exposed to all types of weather conditions. This position is determined to have a potential for possible exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND ELIGIBILITY
  • Minimum age requirement for this position is 18 years old.
  • Possess or obtain a Food Handlers Card within 30 days of employment.
  • Must have an OLCC Permit at time of hire.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, verbally, in writing or by other acceptable means.
  • Comply with pre-employment, random and reasonable suspicion alcohol and drug testing.
  • Availability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays based on the needs of the department and for special casino events.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be able to sit, stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours.
  • Must be able to carry, reach, twist, bend and squat frequently.
  • Must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance as needed.
