Position Overview

The Grounds Maintenance Laborer is responsible for supporting the daily maintenance and upkeep of the golf course and surrounding property. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work outdoors in a team-oriented environment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily golf course maintenance tasks including mowing greens, tees, fairways, and rough
     
  • Assist with course setup, including changing cups, setting tee markers, and maintaining course presentation
     
  • Operate and maintain small equipment such as string trimmers, blowers, and utility vehicles
     
  • Rake bunkers and maintain sand conditions
     
  • Assist with divot repair and general turf maintenance
     
  • Perform landscape maintenance including trimming, edging, and general cleanup
     
  • Assist with irrigation system operation and basic repairs as directed
     
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance facility and equipment
     
  • Follow all safety procedures when operating equipment and handling materials
     
  • Support tournament and special event course setup
     
  • Uphold Golf standards of course conditions, professionalism, and teamwork
Requirements: Qualifications
  • Previous landscaping or golf course maintenance experience preferred but not required
     
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
     
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
     
  • Ability to perform physical labor including lifting up to 50 lbs
     
  • Willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors
     
  • Team-oriented attitude with attention to detail
     
  • Availability for early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays
