A family-friendly, year-round club located minutes from downtown Providence, in Rumford, Agawam Hunt boasts some of the finest recreational facilities in New England, that includes a premier Food & Beverage program, that compliments our 18-hole Donald Ross-designed golf course, indoor and outdoor tennis, pickleball, platform, squash, swimming, and a close community of families and individuals.
The Server Position:
Agawam Hunt is currently seeking qualified individuals to join our proven team of professionals for our dining room and event staff. Positions include Casual and Fine Dining Servers for Lunch and Dinner meal periods.We are also interested in interviewing per diem/'on-call' staff for Events & Banquets. The team has a strong commitment to sourcing the best people, ingredients, and serving the community in a sustainable and warm environment.
Preference will be given to candidates with prior restaurant experience or a strong willingness to learn. The ideal candidates should demonstrate exceptional communication skills to effectively engage with our members. If you exude a positive and friendly demeanor, we are confident in our ability to equip you with the necessary practical skills to excel in this role.
A natural flair for politeness and the ability to intuitively understand guests' requirements, coupled with the confidence to recommend food and wine offerings and guide the flow of a meal, are highly valued attributes in potential Servers. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required. Must have availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
