Their duties include monitoring pace of play, assisting golfers with questions or concerns, and helping maintain course etiquette. Rangers also help with crowd control during busy times and may provide minor assistance, such as finding lost balls or advising on course policies. They serve as a liaison between the clubhouse and players to enhance the overall golfing experience.

What does a golf course ranger do?

A golf course ranger oversees the operation of a golf course. In this career, you patrol the course and driving range, ensuring golfers follow the course’s rules and regulations. You monitor golfers during play, and maintain golf course rules and play etiquette.
