Range & Practice Grounds Attendant

Pay Rate: $14.00 per hour

Schedule: Part-Time, 20-29 hours per week

Cherokee Country Club is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and service-oriented individual to join our golf pro shop team as a Range & Practice Grounds Attendant. This position is responsible for maintaining the appearance, cleanliness, and overall operation of the driving range and practice areas to provide an excellent experience for our members and guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of the driving range, short-game practice area, and all amenities associated with these areas.
  • Pick the driving range regularly using designated range equipment.
  • Collect, clean, and organize range balls to ensure an adequate supply is available for players.
  • Maintain and organize hitting stations, ball baskets, practice equipment, and other range amenities.
  • Assist with setting up and maintaining the driving range and practice areas throughout the day.
  • Monitor practice areas and promptly address cleanliness or maintenance needs.
  • Provide friendly and courteous assistance to players when needed.
  • Safely operate range-picking and other assigned golf course equipment.
  • Assist with other member-service or golf course duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
  • Friendly and professional attitude.
  • Strong attention to cleanliness and detail.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Basic knowledge of golf and golf course operations is preferred but not required.
