Beverage Cart Attendant/ Server/ Banquet Server
Somerby Golf Club
Position Summary
Somerby Golf Club is seeking enthusiastic and service-oriented individuals to join our team as a Beverage Cart Attendant, Server, and Banquet Server. Our staff's commitment to excellence is what sets us apart, and member and guest satisfaction is our top priority.
This role is responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage service across the golf course, dining areas, and special events while maintaining a professional and friendly atmosphere that enhances the overall member and guest experience.
Key Responsibilities Beverage Cart Attendant Duties
  • Safely operate and drive the beverage cart throughout the golf course
  • Serve food, beverages, and snacks to members and guests on the course
  • Maintain proper stock levels in the beverage cart and snack shack
  • Clean and sanitize the beverage cart; secure all items at the end of each shift
  • Accurately record and process daily sales
  • Assist with monthly inventory when requested
  • Follow all golf course etiquette and safety standards
  • Adhere to all standard operating procedures

Server & Banquet Server Duties
  • Greet members and guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Present menus and communicate daily specials and event offerings
  • Answer questions and provide recommendations on food and beverages
  • Take and accurately input orders using the POS system
  • Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining and event spaces
  • Present bills and process cash and credit card transactions
  • Assist with banquet setup, service, and breakdown as needed
  • Inform members and guests of upcoming club events

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Ability to lift and move up to 20 lbs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred, but not required

Work Environment
  • Combination of indoor (restaurant/banquet spaces) and outdoor (golf course) work
  • Requires walking, standing, and driving for extended periods
  • Weekend, holiday, and flexible scheduling availability is required

Compensation: 11.41 + Service Charge
