Job description

Esplanade Golf & Country Club Lakewood Ranch, located in Bradenton, FL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Full-Time Golf Course Maintenance Technician! We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon, you’ll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Performs ground maintenance tasks: mow greens, tees, fairways, and roughs.
  • Safely operates motorized vehicles with standard transmissions.
  • Operates weed-eaters and blowers.
  • Edge, trims, and rakes bunkers.
  • Has advanced experience setting cups and preparing course for play.
  • Plants trees and shrubs, maintains flower beds, weed control, and leaf removal.
  • Fertilizes, prunes trees and shrubs, cuts, rolls, lays, and waters sod.
  • Installs and maintains sand bunkers.
  • Repairs potholes.
  • Trash/litter removal.
  • Performs light irrigation duties (hand water, clean heads, make repairs, etc.).
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
