Salary: $23.74 per hour

Do you enjoy working outside and being part of a great team? Marine Drive Golf Club is one of the top private golf clubs in Western Canada. Located only 20 minutes from downtown (near Southlands and Kerrisdale), it boasts some of the best course conditions in Vancouver. We strive to make everyones playing and working experience exceptional by following our Core Values of Excellence, Passion, Integrity and Coachability.


Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining all areas of the golf course, including mowing, trimming turf, maintaining bunkers and other assigned tasks
  • Positive attitude towards your fellow turf-maintenance team members and Club members
  • Effective communication and cooperation with supervisors daily

Wages & Hours of Work:

  • Earn up to $23.74/hour (base rate is $21.74/hour + 2 dollar/hour seasonal retention incentive) + benefits
  • Shifts start as early as 5:00 AM or 5:30 AM
  • Working 32 - 38 hours per week


Qualifications:

  • Experience working outdoors (i.e. golf courses, landscaping or manual labour) is an asset
  • Previous experience using hand tools or equipment is preferred
  • Have a positive attitude and be a team player
  • Enjoy working early mornings and being done early
  • Sustain prolonged periods of walking, standing, bending, stretching, pushing, pulling, climbing ladders, or kneeling
  • Physically able to operate power equipment
  • Ability to occasionally lift to 50 lbs is desirable, but not essential
  • Possessing a drivers license is preferred
