THE ROLE

The Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the overall appearance, playability, and safety of the golf course and surrounding grounds. This role supports daily golf operations by ensuring turf, landscaping, and course features are maintained to high standards that enhance the guest experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and practice areas

Assist with mowing, aeration, fertilization, and irrigation

Rake and maintain bunkers

Trim landscaping and natural areas

Operate and maintain grounds equipment safely

Identify and report maintenance or safety issues

Assist with course setup and tournament preparation

Follow all safety and environmental guidelines

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty with energy and enthusiasm. Reasonable accommodations may be made.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Groundskeeping or landscaping experience preferred but not required

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Attention to detail

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Willingness to learn equipment and turf care practices

COMPENSATION

Competitive hourly wage, commensurate with experience, and discounted golf privileges.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Location: On Site (Golf Course)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This role requires standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and operating equipment for extended periods.
