The Promontory Club is looking to fill a vacancy for aFood and Beverage Fine Dining Bartender -Full time,at our newest restaurant, Sage. This is A Modern Italian concept restaurant opening in December along with our new Club House and Golf course.

If your passion is to serve signature and classic cocktails in a fine dining, sophisticated interior complemented by majestic mountain vistas and stunning golf course views, then we might be the right place for you!

We are looking to competitively compensate experienced bartenders who have a proven record of excellent service, attention to detail, maintenance of portion control and can complete all activities to keep us compliant with UDABC legal standards and Utah laws.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Greet the Members in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Knowledge of fine wines preferred.
  • Through knowledge of traditional cocktail recipes and mixology techniques.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional bar.
  • Maintain inventoryand control ofbarstock and ordersupplies.
  • Knowledge of modern cuisines is preferred.
  • Completion of assigned opening and closing side work.
  • Work independently and collaboratively, be punctual and well groomed. Uniforms are provided.
  • Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work practices to management; complete safety training and certifications.
  • Other duties as assigned or as required to ensure that the Members have a positive and above satisfactory dining experience.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND CERTIFICATIONS: High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred, must have or be able to acquire a State of Utah food handler's certification within two weeks of employment. Must have a valid alcohol server training certification recognized by the Utah Department of Alcohol and Beverage Control (UDABC). Must be at least 21 years of age.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:1 - 2 years of previous bartending experience required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or more than 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Wages start at $16.00/hr. + tips and will be commensurate with experience upon employment.
