Job description

Carved through the Ponderosa Pines of the Coconino National Forest, Flagstaff Ranch Golf Club is a nationally recognized and awarded private club. Flagstaff Ranch is located just west of historic Flagstaff, Arizona. The Golf Course is a seasonal club and most operations run for six months each year.
Responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic beverages, which should be well presented. This may also include non-alcoholic beverages, such as mocktails or sodas. Bartenders must provide outstanding customer service, while being fast-paced and clean within their area. A Flagstaff Ranch Golf Club bartender should be personable, attentive, and team employee with strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to members and guests. Follow instructions and work as a team player to allow for best member experience. Resolve issue in a friendly and expeditious approach.
  • Order Handling: Take accurate food and beverage orders. Relay orders to the kitchen promptly. Serve food and drinks in a timely manner. Take orders, answer questions, and make and beverage recommendations. Deliver food to the table and ensure orders are correct.
  • Table Maintenance: Set up and clear tables efficiently at bar. Ensure tables are clean and properly set for the next guests. Attend to guest needs throughout the dining experience
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar staff. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth service. Assist colleagues when needed
  • Compliance: Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards, must show proof of Food Handlers card and/or Title 4 for Bartenders. Follow company policies and procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications:
  • Requirements: Previous bartending experience preferred - Familiarity with mixology and restaurant operations. Positive and friendly attitude - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills
  • Season: The golf season opening day is April 25th and closing day is October 25th.
  • Compensation: Starting at $18 per hour. Hourly may increase depending on experience.
  • Experience: Bartender experience is preferred. Must have a valid driver's license. Have
