Job description

Function Otter Creek Golf Course is seeking part-time concession help in the Tin Cup Bar & Grille for the 2026 golf season. This position will begin ASAP and ends mid-November 2026. This position pays $6.75 per hour + Tips

No benefits. Work Schedule: Afternoon/Evening shift and weekends required Under general direction of the Food and Beverage Manager, the Tin Cup Concession/Beverage Cart requires an individual to have great customer service skills and a positive attitude. Some food preparation required, and assisting in preparing the Tin Cup Bar & Grille for day-to-day operation.

Also responsible for accurate accounting and all transactions using the Point-of-Sale System. All interested applicants should apply on-line at www.ankenyiowa.gov. Applications will be accepted until the positions are filled

Application QR Code: Principal Duties and Responsibilities Maintain safe working conditions and sanitary work area. Maintain accurate cash handling procedures at all times. Follow rules and regulations Food Sanitation laws.

Provide great customer service. Interact with customers and clients in a pleasant and professional manner. Prepares and serves food and beverages.

Maintains a clean appearance, clean work uniform, and proper hygiene. Cleans and maintains the concession area and equipment. Fills products and display receptacles.

Provides customer assistance. Ability to prepare and serve short order food and drink. Ability to operate the appliances in the assigned area of work: dishwasher, hot dog roller, merchandise display warmer.

Ability to make change and operate a cash register. Ability to communicate effectively with employees and the public. Ability to understand written and oral instructions.

Knowledge of laws of Iowa Beverage Division, required to take online class in alcohol service. Ability to drive a golf cart, valid Iowa driver's license required. Must claim all cash and credit card tips on a daily basis.

Entry Requirements and Skills Must be 18 years of age Able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays Weekends are required Pre-employment drug screening and background check required
