Located just off Highway 280 in Menlo Park, Sharon Heights Golf & Country Club has been one of the top private golf and country clubs in the United States since opening in 1962. We have a proud history of providing excellent food, service and experiences to our members.

Job Purpose:
Supporting front of the house team by ensuring efficient service delivery. Help to create an exceptional dining experience, by ensuring that all members and guest receive timely, attentive and professional service.
Job Summary (Essential Functions):
  • Clear used dishes, glassware, and utensils promptly
  • Reset tables with clean linens, silverware, and glassware.
  • Ensure table settings are properly arranged for the next guests.
  • Refill water glasses and assist with beverage service as needed.
  • Provide additional napkins, utensils, or condiments upon request.
  • Help servers deliver food and beverages during busy periods
  • Keep dining room, service stations, and floors clean and organized.
  • Restock silverware, napkins, and glassware at service stations
  • Assists with banquet setup
  • Work closely with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
  • Communicate any guest needs or issues to servers or management.
  • Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas for events or private functions.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain a professional and friendly attitude with members and guests.
  • Perform any additional tasks as requested by management.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
  • Must be able to lift 30 lbs, as well as stand for extended periods of time. Frequent standing, walking, lifting, bending, stooping, squatting.
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:
  • Education
    • High school Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Certifications/Licensure
    • Serve safe food handlers or ETips training
    • Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Training certification
  • Experience and Skills
    • 1 year in a restaurant preferred, but not required.
    • Knowledge of hard liquor brands, cocktails, wine, and beer preferred, but not required

Work Schedule/Hours:
This is a full-time morning, evening, weekend and holidays position
