Job description

Maui Nui Golf Club in Kihei, HI is looking for one assistant golf pro/shop attendant to join our 32 person strong team. We are located on 470 Lipoa Pkwy. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and reliable.

Responsibilities

·        Answer the phone enthusiastically. Fully understand and communicate the benefits of Maui Nui Golf Club.

·        Politely and efficiently collect player profile information for future marketing opportunities.

·        Marketing and promotion of new memberships and play programs.

·        Assist with Guest Service Professionals’ scheduling and staffing.

·        Coordinate with the Guest Service department to ensure that the highest level of guest service is provided at all times.

·        Assist and supervise all tournament and event operations.

·        Responsible for the day-to-day sales and administrative operations of the Golf Course

·        Shop department to include but not limited to guest check-in, tee time reservations, sales, promotions, inventory control, shop cleanliness, etc.

·        Be able to work effectively to maximize guest experience.

·        Work diligently during high demand work hours and stay calm under pressure.

This position will promote an exceptional “golf experience” and provide the highest levels of services and programs. This position will also complete projects or other assignments as assigned and required. This position will be able to earn commission, tips, and team incentives!
