Job description

Food & Beverage Manager

Trump National Golf Club Washington D.C. is one of the premier private golf clubs on the East Coast, set along the Potomac River in Sterling, Virginia. Our club is defined by an unwavering commitment to excellence — in our grounds, our cuisine, and the experiences we create for every member and guest who walks through our doors. We are proud of a culture built on professionalism, pride of craft, and genuine hospitality.

We are seeking a Food and Beverage Manager to join our team. The Food & Beverage Manager at Trump National Golf Club Washington D.C. oversees the daily operations of our dining and beverage outlets — including the grill room, bar, and banquet services — ensuring an exceptional experience for every member and guest. This is a leadership role for someone who combines operational discipline with a genuine passion for hospitality, and who can build and inspire a team to deliver consistently at the highest level. You will be a visible, hands-on presence who sets the tone for service excellence across all F&B touch points.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all front-of-house F&B operations including the grill room, bar, and banquet event service.

  • Recruit, train, schedule, and develop F&B staff; conduct regular performance reviews and coaching.

  • Partner with the Executive Chef and culinary team to plan menus, pricing, and seasonal offerings.

  • Manage F&B labor and operating costs to achieve budgeted targets; analyze P&L and implement improvements.

  • Ensure all service standards, presentation expectations, and club policies are consistently upheld.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for member dining feedback; resolve service issues promptly and professionally.

  • Coordinate with the events team to ensure seamless execution of private functions and banquets.

  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and liquor control regulations.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3–5 years of F&B management experience in a country club, hotel, or upscale dining environment.

  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a service team in a high-expectation environment.

  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, labor costs, and beverage programs.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a member-first service philosophy.

  • Proficiency with POS systems and scheduling/management software.

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.

  • ServSafe and TIPS certification required (or willingness to obtain prior to start).

  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours, including up to 50 hours per week, based on seasonal and operational demands.
Benefits
  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience.

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance.

  • Paid time off and holidays.

  • Performance-based bonus potential.

  • Employee dining and club privileges.

  • Leadership role at one of the most recognized private clubs in the country.

We are an Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status.
