Harrison Meadows Country Club, located in Harrison, NY, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time Line Cook! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Pay:
$21.00 - $23.00 per hour
About Us:
We are a five-year-old, semi-private golf club located in Harrison, NY, with approximately 325 members and families who enjoy our clay tennis courts, pools, and golf course. Our kitchen presents its menus bimonthly, with the addition of catering, theme-based member dinners, barbecues, lobster cookouts, cocktail parties, and holiday festivities. Our menus have their roots in American cuisine, utilizing farm-based products and the influences of world cuisines inspired by both research and our diverse staff.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Follows recipes accurately and consistently.
  • Shucks clams and oysters.
  • Prepares clean, well-presented salads and sandwiches.
  • Demonstrates a basic knowledge and enjoyment of pastry.
  • Willing to learn and develop a personal passion for cooking.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of proper cooking temperatures.
  • Organizes and manages the sauté and pizza stations.
