This role owns the full sales cycle across assigned accounts, with a strong focus on expanding adoption of GolfNow’s tee sheet, point of sale, handheld POS, and related SaaS solutions that help golf course operators run more efficient, profitable businesses.

Why This Role Matters

This role directly supports GolfNow’s growth by expanding client relationships, increasing technology and product adoption, improving tee time utilization, and strengthening market penetration. Success in this role will help golf course partners grow rounds, revenue, and operational efficiency while advancing GolfNow’s position as a trusted technology, SaaS, and marketing partner.

This is a remote role supporting the GolfNow platform, with regular in-market travel to engage golf course partners and prospects. Candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to the greater Toronto/Ontario area.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the full sales cycle across assigned markets, including account planning, relationship development, discovery, solution selling, negotiation, retention, expansion, and closing opportunities across GolfNow’s tee sheet, point of sale, handheld POS, and related SaaS solutions.
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with golf course partners, prospects, and multi-course operators by understanding their business challenges and aligning GolfNow technology and marketing solutions to their goals.
  • Retain and grow an existing book of business by identifying partner needs, uncovering expansion opportunities, and positioning GolfNow solutions that support measurable business outcomes.
  • Prepare and present customized GolfNow solutions that address partner needs across operations, revenue management, golfer engagement, tee time utilization, and technology adoption.
  • Become a market expert by developing detailed knowledge of local golf courses, competitive dynamics, decision-makers, market trends, and sales opportunities.
  • Track sales activities, pipeline progress, revenue performance, retention opportunities, product adoption, and partner insights in CRM system.
  • Partner with regional leadership and internal teams to analyze market opportunities, execute sales and marketing strategies, and improve key performance metrics including client growth, retention, product adoption, tee time utilization, and golfer engagement.

Technology Competency

  • Develop strong product fluency across GolfNow’s core technology platforms, including tee sheet, point of sale, handheld POS, and related SaaS solutions.
  • Effectively demonstrate how GolfNow technology supports golf course operations, revenue growth, payment efficiency, staff productivity, and golfer experience.
  • Partner with internal product, support, onboarding, and account teams to support successful implementation, adoption, retention, and expansion of GolfNow technology solutions.
Qualifications

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of relevant SaaS sales, digital marketing, account management, business development, or technology sales experience.
  • Proven ability to manage the full sales cycle, close new business, grow an existing book of business, and retain customers in a recurring revenue or SaaS environment.
  • Experience selling software, point of sale, payments, online distribution, marketing technology, or similar business technology products, preferably within hospitality, recreation, golf, sports, payments, or point of sale environments.
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, presentation, discovery, and negotiation skills.
  • Comfort using CRM tools such as Salesforce, along with strong computer and internet-based research skills.
  • Business acumen, problem-solving ability, and a track record of meeting or exceeding goals.
  • Ability to travel extensively, including weekends or short-notice business needs.

Bonus Points For

  • Experience selling tee sheet, point of sale, handheld POS, payments, reservation, inventory, or business management software.
  • Experience working with golf courses, resorts, hospitality operators, multi-location businesses, or owner-operated businesses.
  • Sales development, sales strategy, market expansion, or customer retention experience.
  • A college degree or equivalent relevant experience.
