      Company Description

Founded in 1980 by a group of entrepreneurial golf professionals, BPG Co-operative Inc. was built on a simple but powerful idea: that by working together, golf shops could achieve greater buying power, stronger supplier relationships, and long-term success.

Today, BPG has grown into a national cooperative representing more than 213 premier golf pro shops located at some of the most respected golf courses across Canada. While our scale has expanded, our foundation remains the same—a collaborative, member-driven organization grounded in trust, professionalism, and shared success.

BPG delivers value to both members and vendor partners through a range of integrated services. Our centralized billing platform streamlines operations, simplifies administration, and improves cash flow—saving time and money for our members while ensuring efficiency and consistency for suppliers. By aggregating purchasing volume, we strengthen negotiating power and unlock enhanced programs and opportunities across our network.

At the heart of BPG is connection. We bring together leading golf retailers and top industry suppliers to build meaningful, long-term partnerships. Our annual Buying Show—the only national golf industry buying show in Canada—welcomes more than 800 attendees and serves as a cornerstone event for product discovery, education, and relationship-building.

Beyond purchasing, BPG is committed to advancing the success of our members through education, data insights, and collaboration. From regional meetings and industry benchmarking to shared best practices, we foster an environment where members learn from one another and continuously elevate their businesses.

As a cooperative, our focus is clear: deliver value back to our members, strengthen our partnerships, and support the ongoing growth of the Canadian golf retail industry.
