Job description

Job Summary and Responsibilities

Embark on a Fulfilling Career as a Breast Imager in the Picturesque Sierra Foothills!

As our Breast Imager, you will join Foundation Physicians Medical Group (FPMG), a thriving multi-specialty group aligned with Dignity Health, in the picturesque Sierra Foothills community of Grass Valley, California. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our radiology services and providing dedicated breast imaging expertise to our growing patient population.

You will focus on breast imaging for a minimum of 50% of your practice, with exceptional opportunities to expand your role and contribute to women's health services as our department grows. You will be a key player in shaping the future of imaging in the region, collaborating within a supportive and team-oriented environment.

To be successful in this role, you will be a dedicated and skilled radiologist with a passion for women's health. Fellowship training in Breast Imaging is highly desirable, and candidates without fellowship training but possessing current MQSA certification and demonstrated expertise in breast imaging are strongly encouraged to apply. You will thrive in a setting that offers unparalleled work-life balance and a supportive physician community.

We are offering a competitive compensation package of $600k, along with a signing bonus and moving allowance. You will also receive an excellent benefits package including full health insurance, a CME stipend, malpractice insurance, and a retirement plan. This position is PSLF eligible, offering significant financial relief.


Job Requirements

Required

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
  • Board certification or eligibility inRadiology
  • Breast Imaging fellowship preferred
  • Will consider MQSA in lieu of breast fellowship
  • Active or eligible license in the state of California
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
