DESCRIPTION: 5K Paraprofessional - Interviews on going
Qualifications:
1. Have 60 College Credit Hours (TRANSCRIPTS ARE REQUIRED, UNOFFICIAL ACCEPTED) or
2. Have completed two years (60 semester hours) of college coursework from an accredited institution, or
3. Have passed a state-approved examination of content knowledge and pedagogy (Testing Location Ola Copeland Learning Center)
*TRANSCRIPTS WILL NEED TO BE SUBMITTED IN PERSON OR UPLOADED DURING APPLICATION PROCESS*
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  1. Works with small groups of students to reinforce material initially introduced by the teacher.
  2. Assists with reading, spelling, handwriting, and math.
  3. Under supervision of teacher, prepares for classroom activities.
  4. Assists individual children in need of special attention.
  5. Catalogs and files instructional materials and maintains an inventory of supplies and equipment and prepares orders.
  6. Performs clerical duties.
  7. Participates in in-service training programs.
  8. Assists with the annual inventory of supplies, materials and equipment.
  9. Completes other assignments as required by supervisor.

9 Months - 192 Days
