Job description

CDL Class A Yard/Shuttle Driver Tolleson Terminal (PM)Shift: The shift is 6pm - 6am is a rotational schedule of 4 days on and 4 days off.
Shift varies and will include weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Compensation:
$26.00/hour + $2/hour shift differential
Overtime after 40 hours worked in a week
Job Summary:
Drivers will be expected to perform services which include, but are not limited to, operating a yard goat, connecting and disconnecting trailers on a continuous basis (moving trailers around the yard), operating various tractor-trailer combinations for extended periods of time and/or over long distances between company/customer facilities, terminals, yards, or work sites; pick up, transport and deliver freight in a safe, timely, and efficient manner; drop, hook, spot, or otherwise interchange equipment for loading or unloading at various locations under varied conditions on a continuous basis.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 18 months driving experience with a tractor/trailer
  • Must be at least 23 years of age
  • No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years
  • No more than 2 preventable accidents in the last 3 years
  • No major convictions in the past 5 years (DUI, Reckless, Suspensions, etc.)
  • Have a valid Class A Driver License
  • Yard Spotting experience preferred
  • Yard Goat experience preferred
