Bus Driver
Pay:
The hourly rate for bus drivers varies depending on the route. Rates can range
from $24.35 to $49.25 per hour based on the route formula. Benefits are
available for those routes which exceed the IMRF requirement of 600 hours per
year.
Requirements:
Candidates must be able to meet performance responsibilities as listed in the job description. These responsibilities will be discussed during the interview.
Candidates must have a CDL, Bus Passenger Endorsement, Air Brakes
Endorsement, pass the required Regional Office of Education Bus Driver
Training, Bus Driver Physical and Drug Screen.
As required by State Law and District Policy, employment is conditional upon
passing a background investigation and meeting all Illinois Licensure
Requirements.
