Job description

Franklin Transit Management (FTM) is currently seeking full-time and part-time transit bus drivers. The schedules may include working on weekends and times of shifts may vary. Full-time employees are scheduled 40 hours per week (8hrs/day) with 2 consecutive days off. All employees are offered a 401k with employer match, paid holidays, personal time and sick time. In addition to those benefits, full-time employees also receive amazing health benefits, Vacation time, Life insurance. It is preferred that potential employees already have a valid Class B driver's license with passenger endorsement but training for CDL is available on a case-by-case basis.

Job Description

Safely and efficiently operate assigned vehicles on either a fixed-route or paratransit schedule.
Interact with passengers to answer any questions pertaining to service.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers.

Requirements:

Valid Class A or B Massachusetts Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger endorsement and no air brakes restriction is preferred. Valid Class D license for at least 3 years is required.

Already possess or have the ability to obtain a Federal DOT Medical Certificate.
Applicants must be eligible to work in US without restrictions for any employer at any time; be able to pass a drug screen and background check, including motor vehicle check to DOT standards.

Past customer service experience is preferred.
