About the Role

As the Senior Sales Engineer for the Northeast territory at VulnCheck, you will play a critical role in demonstrating how VulnCheck intelligence enhances workflows for Enterprise, MSSP, and Cyber Vendor customers. You will collaborate closely with prospects, customers, partners, and internal teams to deliver valuable solutions and drive business opportunities. This role is instrumental in securing the technical win and ensuring customers recognize the value of VulnCheck in strengthening their cybersecurity posture.  Although this is a 100% remote role, candidates must be based in the Greater Boston, Massachusetts region.

What You'll Do
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and customers.
  • Lead proof-of-value (PoV) engagements, ensuring successful technical validation of VulnCheck solutions.
  • Influence product development by gathering customer feedback and advocating for feature requests and enhancements.
  • Provide technical consulting and customization to help customers integrate VulnCheck solutions into data platforms, vendor tools, and existing processes.
  • Train prospects and customers, troubleshoot PoV issues, and respond to product inquiries to ensure customers can operate independently and confidently.
  • Develop custom scripts and troubleshoot performance issues related to VulnCheck components, including the API, data fidelity, and CLI/SDK.
Your Impact

Sales Engineers at VulnCheck are product experts, technical advisors, and customer advocates. You will ensure VulnCheck solutions seamlessly integrate into customers' security environments while serving as the primary presales technical contact.

By building strong customer relationships, you will drive successful security implementations and help manage the customer lifecycle to ensure long-term success.

How You'll Make an Impact
  • Guide customers through adoption and integration, accelerating deployments of new security products.
  • Provide real-time technical support and strategic guidance to optimize security operations.
  • Leverage deep product expertise to assist with initial setup, deployment, optimization, and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate closely with prospects and customers to ensure VulnCheck solutions align with their security objectives.

Your expertise will be instrumental in enabling successful security integrations and empowering customers to enhance their cybersecurity posture with confidence.

What You'll Bring
  • Deep understanding of the cybersecurity product landscape, with a focus on Vulnerability Management.
  • Strong understanding of incident response, vulnerability management, and SOC operations, including how vulnerability intelligence supports each function.
  • Ability to develop and maintain scripts in Python.
  • Experience working with APIs and JSON.
  • Ability to build workflows in security platforms such as SIEM, SOAR, TIP or similar tools.
  • Experience with mentorship responsibilities.
  • 5+ years of experience as a pre-sales engineer in the cybersecurity industry.
  • Familiarity with the Go programming language.
