Job Title: East Coweta Campus Worship Coordinator

Purpose of the Role

The East Coweta Campus Worship Coordinator serves the mission of GO Church by cultivating a life-giving, passionate, and skillful culture of worship at the East Coweta Campus. This role leads, develops, and pastors GO Team members in the area of worship - creating an atmosphere of excellence, authenticity, and spiritual depth in every Gathering and event.

The Worship Coordinator partners with the East Coweta Campus Pastor & Gatherings Director to ensure alignment, consistency, and creative collaboration at the East Coweta Campus - contributing to a unified worship experience that helps people encounter Jesus both in person and online.


Experience and Knowledge Required

  • Minimum of 3 years of worship leading experience in a local church setting
  • Proficiency in voice
  • Proficiency in either piano or guitar
  • Excellent leadership, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop volunteer teams
  • Familiarity with worship and production tools, including but not limited to:
    • ProPresenter, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Garage Band
    • PCO (database/scheduling)
    • Basecamp 3 (project management)
    • Playback / Ableton
  • Understanding of stage setup, teardown, and basic AVL processes
  • Ability to create and lead engaging worship experiences that align with the vision of GO Church


Essential Functions and Responsibilities


Worship Leadership

  • Lead worship for all Proficiency in Campus Gatherings and special events:
    • Sundays, First Wednesdays, First Saturdays, Conferences, etc
  • Oversee and pastor the band, frontline, and worship choir through intentional training, planning, and rehearsals
  • Create and distribute rehearsal materials and training resources for worship team
  • Schedule and lead all rehearsals and pre-gathering meetings
  • Ensure musical and spiritual excellence through thoughtful song selection and preparation
  • Support your Campus Pastor and team by engaging in campus events - bringing creative input and hands-on support to ensure excellence in programming and execution from the stage
  • Work closely with Production Coordinator to ensure every Gathering is excellent and in alignment with the vision and mission of GO Church


Team Development & Pastoring

  • Recruit, train, and equip new team members to serve in worship ministry
  • Develop worship leaders and volunteers through mentoring and consistent feedback
  • Train & Empower Leaders on both Vocal & Band teams: Worship Leaders and MD's Development
  • Provide tools and resources for Band & Vocalists to constantly master their craft
  • Identify and appoint Captains onto the team for Choir, Frontline, and Band
  • Foster a culture of worship that is Spirit-led, excellent, and unified with GO Church's vision
  • Consistently meet and pastor members of the Worship Team
  • Create opportunities for the Worship team to get together and grow together
  • Collaborate with East Coweta Campus GO YA and GO Youth to ensure worship teams follow established Worship SOPs and are developed to create a consistent GO Church worship experience. As well as create a worship pipeline for our sons and daughters.


Creative Collaboration

  • Collaborate with the Gatherings Director on creative initiatives, song selections, and major events (Christmas, Easter, Conferences, etc.)
  • Partner with the Production Coordinator and Gatherings Director to create powerful and distraction-free worship environments
  • Participate in creative meetings and contribute new ideas for gatherings, stage design, and worship elements
  • Collaborate with the Gatherings Director to create and maintain onboarding development for Vocal and Band Members as they are added to teams
  • Collaborate with Gatherings Director & other Campus Worship Coordinators on weekend set lists and ideas for engaging worship across GO Church


Administrative & Operational

  • Manage scheduling and communication for East Coweta Campus worship team members
  • Assist in planning and executing departmental projects and goals
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date team information within church databases
  • Assist in managing the annual budget and ensure all financial procedures are followed
  • Attend and actively participate in staff meetings, weekend prep, and campus gatherings
  • Any other administrative duties as assigned by East Coweta Campus Pastor

  • Maintain proper priorities in your home and spiritual life
  • Be loyal to the mission, vision, and staff of GO Church; protect the unity and integrity of the church
  • Invest in and invite people to know Jesus and become part of GO Church
  • Maintain a consistent personal walk with the Lord through prayer and Scripture
  • Financially support the mission and vision of GO Church by faithfully giving at least 10% of your gross income. Maintain wise stewardship over the remaining 90%.
  • Read/sign the GO Church social media policy, staff culture and core values.
