Go Intern information

What is a Go intern?

Go Interns are students or recent graduates who undertake internships focused on the Go programming language (also known as Golang). Their primary responsibilities usually include assisting in the development, testing, and maintenance of software applications written in Go. They work under the supervision of experienced Go developers and gain practical experience in real-world projects. Go Interns also learn best practices in software engineering, collaborate with teams, and often contribute to open-source or company codebases.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Go intern?

To thrive as a Go Intern, you should have a solid understanding of programming fundamentals, familiarity with the Go language, and coursework or experience in computer science or software engineering. Experience with tools such as Git, basic knowledge of development environments, and exposure to version control systems are typically required. Strong problem-solving skills, eagerness to learn, and effective communication help interns stand out in collaborative settings. These skills are crucial for contributing meaningfully to projects, adapting to new challenges, and growing quickly in a technical team environment.

What types of projects can a Go intern expect to work on, and how are tasks typically assigned?

As a Go Intern, you can expect to work on real-world backend development projects using the Go programming language. Tasks may include writing and testing code for APIs, debugging existing Go services, or contributing to system performance improvements. Assignments are usually given by a senior developer or team lead, with guidance provided through code reviews and regular check-ins. Interns often collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and QA teams, gaining exposure to the entire software development lifecycle while receiving mentorship to support their learning and growth.

What is the difference between Go Intern vs Go Developer?

In summary, a Go Intern is typically a beginner or student gaining initial experience in Go programming, often through internships. A Go Developer, on the other hand, is a more experienced professional responsible for building and maintaining Go applications. Interns usually work under supervision and are in learning phases, while developers have more responsibilities and technical expertise.

Job description

About Eudia

Eudia is revolutionizing legal work through AI-powered Augmented Intelligence, empowering Fortune 500 legal teams to accelerate decision-making, mitigate risk, and drive strategic growth. With $105M in Series A funding led by General Catalyst, we're crafting a category-defining platform that fuses AI-driven automation with human expertise, transforming legal departments into engines of innovation.
At Eudia, we move fast. Unlike traditional enterprise software companies, our teams ship solutions in days, not months-delivering real impact for some of the world's largest companies, including Cargill, Coherent, DHL, and Duracell. We're solving one of the most complex, unsolved challenges in AI: bringing trust, accuracy, and security to legal automation.

We're a team of builders, operators, and problem-solvers who are passionate about reshaping an industry that has long been resistant to change. If you're looking for a place where you'll be challenged, take ownership from day one, and work alongside some of the brightest minds in AI and legal-we'd love to meet you.

About the Role

As a Product Intern, you'll help maintain and grow the user guide and internal documentation that support Eudia's legal intelligence products. You'll work closely with product and engineering teams to keep documentation accurate and easy to find as our products evolve, while also helping keep the engineering backlog organized and up to date.

This is a hands-on role for someone who's detail-oriented and comfortable moving across different workstreams. You'll get exposure to how a fast-moving AI startup documents, ships, and supports its products, working alongside the teams building the product itself.

What You'll Own

As an intern at Eudia, you will take ownership of work with a direct connection to the customer experience. You will collaborate across Product, Engineering, and go-to-market teams, build expertise across Eudia's platform, and improve how customers adopt and use our products.

1) Shape the Customer Product Experience
  • Own user guide content and experience across Eudia's entire product offerings.
  • Turn complex workflows into clear, accessible guidance supported by screenshots, visual assets, and video walkthroughs.
  • Keep customer-facing resources aligned with each product release, giving customers accurate guidance when features evolve.
  • Partner directly with Product and Engineering to validate workflows before publication and uphold a consistent standard across the full user guide.
2) Equip Teams to Serve Customers Better
  • Translate product capabilities and workflows into resources teams use in customer conversations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation as the platform evolves.
  • Identify information gaps and improve how product knowledge moves across Eudia.
3) Accelerate Product Adoption Alongside Engineering
  • Work directly with engineers and product owners to have a clear, actionable backlog in Linear.
The Impact You'll Have

The internship gives you a direct line from your work to customer and business outcomes. From your first projects, you will own visible deliverables, influence how teams operate, and see how your decisions improve the customer experience. You will leave with deep product knowledge, hands-on cross-functional experience, and a portfolio of work used by customers and teams across Eudia.
