Job description

Location: Remote (United States)

Work Model: Remote

Industry: Health tech / AI

Compensation: $80K-$100K base, $120K-$140K OTE

About the Company

Our partner is a seed-stage health-tech company using agentic AI to solve prior authorization for specialty pharmaceutical therapies. The platform removes burdensome administrative work across every drug and payer, is free to providers, HIPAA-compliant, and already live in thousands of practices.

The Opportunity

This is the company's highest-priority hire and the first real seat on the go-to-market team. Most of the day is outbound: calling practice managers, practice owners, and physicians, then carrying the deal through discovery, a tailored demo, and close.

You will help write the playbook rather than simply run one: choosing specialties, testing channels, refining messaging, and feeding what works back into the motion.

Responsibilities
  • Run high-volume outbound into specialty practices, primarily by phone.
  • Qualify and run product demos with limited ramp support.
  • Own the full cycle through evaluation and close.
  • Explain prior authorization and pharmacy-benefits complexity clearly.
  • Hand off new customers cleanly to onboarding.
  • Improve targeting, messaging, and process as the function is built.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of sales experience with real outbound repetitions.
  • Genuine interest in a sales career.
  • Ability to learn complex healthcare subject matter quickly and explain it coherently.
  • High autonomy and ownership.
  • Based in New York and able to work onsite 4-5 days a week.
  • Healthcare or health-tech exposure strongly preferred.
