Satellite Positioning Quality Assurance Innovation Engineer

As a Satellite Positioning Quality Assurance Innovation Engineer at Fugro, you will play a key role in ensuring the seamless functionality and performance of Satellite Positioning testing processes. Collaborate with Quality Assurance Manager and developers to implement, execute, and document test scenarios and results, contributing to delivering a high-quality product.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead by example and place Quality, Health & Safety, Security, and the protection of the Environment as core values while never intentionally placing employees, our processes, customers, or the communities in which we live and work at risk.
  • Implement quality control processes for Satellite Positioning software in coordination with Quality Assurance Manager.
  • Collaborate with developers to understand the software features and design effective test strategies.
  • Execute automated tests, document and analyze results, and report on test status, contributing to the overall quality assurance process.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects, working closely with development teams to facilitate resolution.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies at Fugro.
Job Requirements
  • Possess a bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.
  • Has 0+ years of programming skills in languages like C/C++, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Has the ability to problem-solve and use analytical skills.
  • Experience with Global Navigation Satellite Systems is desired.
  • Experience with integration testing is desired.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration with test automation is desired.
