Job description

Stockroom Clerk - Temp to Perm
Salary Range: $20.00 to $23.50

Starting Wage is $20.00
Hours: Monday to Friday 8AM-4:30PM
Summary
Receives, stores, and issues material and compiles stock records in the stockroom by performing the following duties.
Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Count, sort or weigh when issuing parts for kits and requisitions
  • Fill orders or issue materials from stock
  • Prepare periodic, special, or perpetual inventory of stock
  • Complete period manual "Cycle Counts" on inventory
  • Requisition articles to fill incoming orders
  • Mark identifying codes, figures or letter on articles
  • Distribute stock among production workers, keeping records of material issued
  • Adjust articles carried in stock
  • Move or transport material to other departments
  • Maintain inventory and other stock records
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Minimum 6 months' experience in stockroom parts requisition fulfillment and inventory maintenance.
  • Experience working with electronics parts inventory and in an ESD environment is preferred
