What makes You an ideal candidate?

  • Advanced knowledge of portfolio management, governance, business analysis, and program management practices
  • Strong strategic thinking and executive communication abilities

  • Experience facilitating governance forums and executive-level discussions
  • Ability to translate complex information into actionable recommendations
  • Advanced proficiency with portfolio reporting, planning, and analytics tools
  • Experience supporting privacy programs, customer data governance initiatives, consent management platforms, or marketing technology ecosystems within financial services or other highly regulated industries.

Additional Knowledge and Skills

Working effectively within an AI enabled environment:  

  • Ability to use AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to support daily work
  • Skills in evaluating AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, and bias
  • Experience integrating AI into workflows to improve efficiency or insights
  • Familiarity with AI assisted research, summarization, and content generation
  • Understanding of responsible AI use, including ethics and data protection 

Work Experience & Education

  • 5+ years of experience in portfolio management, program management, project management, business analysis, governance, operations, technology delivery, or related disciplines required
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving multiple business and technology stakeholders required
  • Experience developing executive-level reporting, governance materials, business cases, and strategic recommendations required
  • Experience supporting Digital Marketing, Customer Experience, Product Management, Technology, Analytics, or Enterprise Transformation organizations preferred
  • Experience leading portfolio governance, demand management, capacity planning, or prioritization activities preferred
  • Experience within financial services or other highly regulated industries preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Information Systems, Technology, Project Management, or related field; or equivalent work experience required
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration or related discipline preferred

About the role

The Portfolio Management Analyst III plays a key role in overseeing portfolio governance, planning, and performance management across strategic initiatives. This role partners with business and technology leaders to drive portfolio prioritization, support investment decisions, and ensure alignment between project delivery and organizational objectives.

The analyst develops executive reporting, portfolio dashboards, and actionable insights that support leadership decision-making while promoting transparency, accountability, and operational excellence. This position also serves as a trusted partner across stakeholders, coordinating complex initiatives, managing dependencies, and driving continuous improvements in portfolio management processes and governance practices.

In this role you will:

Portfolio Governance & Intake Management

  • Lead portfolio governance and intake management activities
  • Establish and maintain governance standards, controls, and operating procedures
  • Facilitate governance forums and support executive decision-making
  • Drive portfolio transparency, accountability, and compliance

Portfolio Planning & Prioritization

  • Lead portfolio planning and prioritization efforts
  • Develop strategic recommendations, trade-off analysis, and sequencing options
  • Partner with leaders to align portfolio investments with business objectives
  • Influence prioritization and resource allocation decisions

Reporting & Portfolio Visibility

  • Develop executive dashboards, scorecards, and portfolio reviews
  • Present portfolio health, performance metrics, risks, and recommendations to leadership
  • Deliver actionable insights that support strategic decision making
  • Drive continuous improvement of portfolio reporting and visibility

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Serve as a trusted partner across business and technology organizations
  • Lead coordination efforts involving complex dependencies and competing priorities
  • Drive issue resolution and escalation management
  • Influence outcomes without direct authority

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify and implement portfolio management best practices
  • Drive maturity improvements across governance, planning, reporting, and prioritization processes
  • Lead initiatives focused on operational excellence and organizational effectiveness
