GLS Group Package Handler

GLS Group is one of the largest parcel services providers in Europe, with a strong local presence in almost all countries across the continent. It also operates through wholly owned subsidiaries in Canada and on the USA's West Coast within one GLS network. This allows GLS to seamlessly connect its customers and communities with millions of parcels and stories every day. GLS' network connects its markets with high velocity and flexibility to respond to their fast-changing and dynamic nature. The company provides high quality service tailored to its customers' needs across more than 50 countries. The GLS network consists of over 120 hubs and more than 1,600 depots, supported by more than 36,700 vans, light vehicles and walkers, and 6,400 trucks. This offers network resilience, superior flexibility, and extended reach. In 2024/25, GLS generated record revenues of 5.9 billion euros and delivered 926 million parcels across the markets.

Our package handlers are our front-line employees and a very important part of GLS. They work diligently to sort and make sure packages are in the correct route, to ensure proper delivery timelines. They work closely as a team to make sure all the behind the scenes work is done safely and successfully, no day is the same. We are looking to expand our team with people that care about safety, quality and work at a fast pace.

Scan and/or sort packages, load and unload trucks. Operate equipment such as forklift and pallet jacks. Comply with all warehouse safety rules and guidelines. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Other duties as assigned.

Characteristics are relatively stable and frequently wet and/or humid. Maybe exposed to fumes, airborne particles, extreme heat and vibrations. The noise level is usually loud and the exposure risk to hazardous environmental conditions are moderate. Listed below are applicable special environmental conditions.

  • Standing for prolonged periods of time is required.
  • Regularly works in outside weather conditions.

0 - 25 lbs.- Regularly (65 100%)

26 - 50 lbs.- Regularly (65 100%)

51+ lbs. - Regularly (65 100%)
