We harness innovative technology and exceptional talent to meet the complex needs of our clients in a fast-paced and dynamic legal landscape.The Treasury Manager is responsible for leading the Firm’s global treasury operations, including liquidity management, banking relationships, cash forecasting, investment activity, debt compliance, insurance coordination, and treasury controls. This role safeguards the Firm’s financial assets by maintaining a strong control environment, ensuring the completeness and accuracy of cash and investment information, and supporting strategic decision-making through timely reporting and analysis. The Treasury Manager serves as a key finance partner to leadership, partners, bankers, brokers, and internal stakeholders across domestic and international offices.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead, enhance, and maintain treasury policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard Firm assets, strengthen governance, and improve operational efficiency.Oversee daily cash positioning, including domestic and international liquidity management, investment activity, and reporting of daily cash receipts to leadership.Develop, prepare, and report cash forecasts to ensure sufficient funds are available to meet operational, investment, and strategic requirements.Serve as the primary finance contact for domestic and global banking relationships, including coordination of account structures, banking documentation, and relationship management.Manage bank account structures and support the continued optimization of global treasury operations.Monitor debt covenant compliance and prepare quarterly and annual calculations and certificates in accordance with credit agreements.Budget and forecast interest income and expense, analyze variances, and provide insights to support financial planning.Manage excess operating cash to optimize interest revenue while maintaining appropriate liquidity.Act as an authorized signatory on bank accounts and approve electronic cash disbursements in accordance with Firm policies and internal controls.Facilitate line of credit renewals and coordinate related requirements with bankers and internal stakeholders.Coordinate letters of credit, rental guarantees, and performance guarantees with banking partners and internal teams.Review new escrow arrangements to ensure compliance with Firm escrow policies and applicable control requirements.Assist partners seeking external financing to meet capital requirements.Manage the annual insurance renewal process in coordination with insurance brokers and internal stakeholders.Serve as the Firm’s internal primary contact for insurance-related needs, including requests for certificates of insurance.Demonstrate leadership and training skills to support the continued development of staff within the department.QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business.MBA or advanced degree in finance or accounting strongly preferred.Professional certifications such as CPA, CTP, or CFA preferred.Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance and global treasury operations with a track record of increasing responsibility.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate treasury, banking, and financial concepts clearly to internal and external stakeholders.Strong relationship management and listening skills, with the ability to build credibility with leadership, partners, banks, brokers, and cross-functional teams.Ability to manage high-pressure situations, resolve issues effectively, and mitigate risk in a deadline-driven environment.Self-starter with strong organizational skills, sound judgment, creativity, and ownership of responsibilities and requests.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to research issues, evaluate options, and recommend practical solutions.Effective team builder and motivator with strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and quality.Strong time management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities independently.Ability to work independently with limited supervision while maintaining appropriate communication and accountability.The firm offers a generous total compensation package with bonuses and raises awarded in recognition of individual merit-based performance.
