Job description

Job Description Summary:
At The Coca-Cola Company, we believe that delivering growth goes hand in hand with maintaining financial integrity and managing risk in an increasingly dynamic global business environment. Our Treasury and Risk Management functions play a critical role in safeguarding the Company while enabling resilience and long-term value creation.
As Senior Finance Manager, Corporate Risk, you will be a strategic partner within the Corporate Controller's Group and Corporate Treasury's Risk Management team, ensuring accurate financial reporting, insightful analysis, and effective governance for The Coca-Cola Company's captive insurance entities and related risk management activities. This role combines technical accounting expertise, investment and insurance analysis, and business partnering skills to inform decisions at the highest level of the organization.
This opportunity is designed for a finance professional who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments and who brings curiosity, analytical rigor, and a proactive mindset. You will manage financial operations for specialized risk programs-including insurance reserves, captive operations, and derivative activity-while advancing reporting excellence in compliance with U.S. GAAP and statutory requirements. If you want to influence outcomes and create impact across treasury strategies and corporate risk initiatives, this role offers a platform for highly visible contributions and professional growth.
What You'll Do for Us
  • Oversee monthly financial reporting processes for captive insurance companies and corporate risk units, including review of general ledger postings, reconciliations, and narratives to ensure accurate and compliant results.
  • Lead the preparation of annual Business Plan and Rolling Estimates for risk management operations, integrating market, insurance, and investment perspectives.
  • Analyze financial performance areas including underwriting results, realized and unrealized portfolio gains/losses, dividend income, and other investment-related income streams; deliver insights to Corporate Treasury, Risk Management leadership, and relevant stakeholders.
  • Record derivative-related general ledger activity initiated in treasury systems, ensuring accurate data flow between Reval and SAP.
  • Prepare quarterly cash flow statements, balance sheet narratives, and detailed variance analyses for captive reporting units.
  • Develop key sections of the monthly risk management reporting package and, when needed, present findings to captive boards and senior leadership.
  • Prepare the Investment Footnote for inclusion in SEC filings (10-K and 10-Q), ensuring timely and accurate disclosures.
  • Conduct insurance reserve analyses and collaborate with actuaries, custodians, and third-party service providers to validate assumptions and financial impact.
  • Research and apply technical accounting guidance to ensure GAAP and statutory compliance for new and existing risk transactions.
  • Partner with internal finance operations and relevant business units to ensure accurate accounting of third-party and intercompany transactions for premiums, claims, and related activity across U.S. GAAP and statutory ledgers.
  • Respond to ad-hoc requests and deliver actionable insights to the Risk Management leadership team and Corporate Treasury.
  • Prepare audit-ready documentation and coordinate responses for internal and external audits as well as Corporate Tax review processes.

Requirements & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or advanced accounting qualification preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, financial reporting, and analysis; prior experience in treasury, risk management, or insurance accounting a strong plus.
  • Advanced knowledge of U.S. GAAP with ability to research and apply technical accounting standards; knowledge of statutory reporting is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of captive insurance operations, insurance reserves, investment accounting, and related treasury activities.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in financial analysis, including P&L variance, ROI, and complex investment performance metrics.
  • Familiarity with financial systems such as SAP and treasury applications.
  • Strong capability in developing insights from financial data, preparing executive-level reporting, and influencing decisions through clear recommendations.
  • Proven track record of delivering on multiple priorities in a matrixed, fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • High attention to detail combined with strategic thinking; able to operate independently with sound judgment and collaborative mindset.

What We'll Do for You
  • Provide opportunities to lead financial reporting for high-impact corporate risk activities with enterprise visibility.
  • Enable access to advanced treasury and financial systems to deepen expertise in risk-sensitive environments.
  • Foster cross-functional partnerships with Treasury, Tax, Legal, and Finance teams, expanding exposure to global risk and investment strategies.
  • Create a platform for long-term career growth through complex projects spanning insurance, derivatives, and risk-related financial frameworks.
