Job description

Position Summary

The Commercial Loan Servicing Manager will provide leadership and management to the Commercial Loan Servicing staff and all functions within the Commercial Loan Servicing department for the global organization. This includes overseeing various servicing related processes including: booking new loans and renewals, payment processing, account reconciliation, core input review, document exception input, tracking and resolutions, participations/syndications , compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements, creation of policies, procedures for commercial loan servicing department, preparation of responses to internal and external audit findings, departmental Service Level Agreements and Core Vendor system enhancements and functionality. This position also ensures cohesiveness between the front line and back office departments.Duties & Responsibilities
  • Management of Commercial Loan Operations staff, and all of the daily functions performed by the group, including staff training on all bank's systems related to commercial operations functions to ensure accuracy and integrity.
  • Decision authority on loan system parameters to support deal structure.
  • Creation, oversight, approval and on-going maintenance of departmental policies and procedures, including adherence by staff.
  • Maintain Service level standards for team with metric reporting and accountability measures.
  • High level of collaboration with business line leaders within Commercial Lending, TM and Deposits on strategy and co-system functionality needs.
  • Liaison with proprietary bank systems such as Synergy, nCino, Jack Henry and other vendors on system functionality, enhancements, and system updates. Includes training and liaison with internal staff in all commercial lending, audit, and compliance departments.
Education & Experience
  • Knowledge of:
  • Strong oral, written communication, organizational and time management skills.
  • Specialty lending parameters and processing for business lines such as participations, syndications, letters of credit and SBA.
  • Commercial loan documentation, credit arrangements, bank products, and accounting systems
  • Bank regulations and compliance issues
  • Ability to:
  • Continual attention to detail in composing and proofing materials, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to prioritize projects
  • Identify, problem solve, and exercise exceptional use of good judgment with respect to issues/circumstances as they arise
  • Conform to all safety rules and use all appropriate safety equipment
  • Work independently and as part of a team
  • Education and Training:
  • Requires Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics OR equivalent years of relevant work experience
  • Requires 10 or more years of experience in Commercial loan operations or loan accounting department
  • Requires knowledge of Microsoft Office

Compensation and Benefits

Salary offered is based on factors, including but not limited to, the job duties, required qualifications and relevant experience, and local market trends. The role may be eligible for bonus or incentives based on company and individual performance.

(Base Pay Range: $85,000 - $120,000)
