Job description

Overview
As the Sr. Director, Global Total Rewards, this role reports to the Group Vice President of Global Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards & HR Operations and serves as a hands-on leader across compensation, benefits, and executive rewards for Crocs, Inc. This is a true player-coach role, requiring someone who can partner closely with the GVP to shape Total Rewards priorities while also getting into the details to build, analyze, and execute high-quality solutions.
This leader will help translate Total Rewards priorities into practical programs, tools, recommendations, and deliverables that support the business. The role includes direct involvement in compensation modeling, job offer proposals, incentive and equity recommendations, executive compensation materials, promotions, market reviews, and other day-to-day rewards decisions. This is not a role that simply delegates from a distance. The successful candidate will lead through both direction and execution, rolling up their sleeves when needed while also coaching and developing the team.
The Sr. Director will partner with executive leaders, HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Finance, Legal, and governance stakeholders to deliver competitive, scalable, and business-aligned Total Rewards solutions. This role also supports Compensation Committee planning, materials, and recommendations, helping convert complex data and market insights into clear, actionable guidance. This role is designed for a leader who is equally comfortable advising executives, coaching a team, and personally building the analysis, offer proposal, or recommendation needed to move an important decision forward.
What You'll Do
  • Partner with the Group Vice President to shape and execute the global Total Rewards agenda across compensation, incentives, equity, executive compensation, and benefits.
  • Serve as a hands-on player-coach, balancing enterprise-level leadership with direct involvement in detailed compensation work, including job offer proposals, compensation analyses, market reviews, equity recommendations, promotions, and incentive decisions.
  • Lead, coach, and support the Total Rewards team while remaining actively involved in critical deliverables, complex analyses, and high-impact recommendations.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners, Finance, Legal, and business leaders to develop competitive and thoughtful job offer proposals that balance market competitiveness, internal equity, talent needs, and business priorities.
  • Support executive leadership and governance partners with clear, data-driven compensation and equity recommendations that enable informed decision-making.
  • Help design, refine, and administer global rewards programs that are competitive, scalable, compliant, and aligned with Crocs, Inc.'s business objectives, culture, and talent priorities.
  • Provide hands-on leadership for executive and equity compensation processes, including modeling, analysis, materials preparation, governance support, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Support Compensation Committee planning, materials, and disclosures by translating complex rewards data into clear insights, recommendations, and decision-ready content.
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to strengthen compensation and rewards practices through practical guidance, tools, education, and consistent decision frameworks.
  • Drive continuous improvement across Total Rewards processes, programs, and tools by using market data, analytics, business feedback, and operational insights to improve effectiveness and the employee value proposition.

What You'll Bring to the Table
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Human Resources, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • 10+ years of progressive experience in compensation, benefits, and Total Rewards, either within a consulting environment or a publicly traded global organization, including experience leading Total Rewards teams or major rewards programs.
  • A true player-coach mindset, with the ability to operate strategically while also getting into the details to build analyses, develop recommendations, prepare materials, and solve complex compensation issues.
  • Strong hands-on compensation experience, including job offer proposals, market pricing, incentive design, equity recommendations, executive compensation, promotions, and internal equity assessments.
  • Global benefits knowledge and management experience, including oversight of benefits programs across geographies and employee populations.
  • Strong global knowledge of global market practices, trends, and benchmarks across compensation and benefits, with the ability to translate external insights into practical program recommendations.
  • Experience overseeing and managing benefits and compensation for both hourly and corporate employee populations, with an understanding of the different needs, compliance considerations, and employee experience expectations across each group.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with senior leaders, HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Finance, Legal, and other cross-functional partners.
  • Strong analytical, financial, and compensation modeling capabilities, including advanced proficiency in Excel and data-driven decision-making.
  • Proven ability to lead complex projects and organizational change while managing competing priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Strategic and results-oriented leader who can influence decisions, drive outcomes, and navigate complexity with sound judgment and resilience.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of how Total Rewards programs support organizational performance, talent outcomes, retention, and company growth.
  • Excellent executive presence, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to simplify complex rewards topics and engage senior leaders, executives, and Board-level stakeholders.

The Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to a diverse and inclusive work environment.
All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, or disability, or any other classification protected by law.
