Job description

As Associate Director - Global Governance and Transformation Excellence (GATE), you are responsible for leading the global governance, standardization, and continuous evolution of PPG's Global Template across SAP S/4HANA and associated digital platforms. You lead a globally distributed team of process leaders and governance experts accountable for defining, maintaining, and advancing standardized end-to-end business processes, master data structures, KPI frameworks, and compliance controls. You will serve as a strategic partner between business functions and the SAP Center of Excellence (COE), ensuring scalable, compliant, and globally aligned solutions that enable business performance and transformation objectives. You will be based out of the Pittsburgh General Office and report to the Director, PPG Program.
Key Responsibilities
  • Own and govern the PPG Global Template, ensuring global consistency in business processes, master data, reporting, and compliance standards
  • Lead enterprise-wide process governance and change control, including evaluation of enhancements, deviations, and new capabilities
  • Drive standardization and adoption of global processes across all regions, business units, and ERP deployments
  • Conduct end-to-end impact assessments across process, data, and system landscapes
  • Lead continuous improvement and transformation initiatives, incorporating digital innovation, automation, and emerging technologies
  • Define and govern global KPI frameworks, reporting standards, and performance management disciplines
  • Ensure development and maintenance of process documentation, leveraging tools such as Signavio and adoption platforms
  • Act as a senior leader in global governance forums, influencing key decisions across transformation programs

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related discipline (MBA preferred)
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in global process excellence, transformation, or ERP programs or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Demonstrated leadership of global, matrixed teams
  • Deep expertise in process standardization, governance, and template management
  • Extensive experience with ERP systems - candidates with SAP S/4HANA will be given preferential consideration
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes and performance management frameworks
  • Proven ability to influence executive-level stakeholders across business and IT organizations
  • Experience with process modeling and performance tools (e.g., Signavio) preferred
