Job Duties

As the Global Process Owner, Talent & Culture, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the vision, mission, governance and functional strategy for Morningstar’s Talent & Culture processes. Your focus will initially be on driving global consistency with key processes and expanding Global Shared Services work.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Driving effective documentation, governance controls, and technology use for Talent & Culture processes.
  • Leading, supporting, and advising on the successful execution of key transformation and automation of operations programs and processes.
  • Serving as a close partner of the Global Operations team to deliver a consistent experience across Talent & Culture.
  • Translating strategy into operational goals, objectives, and a process transformation roadmap.
  • Driving global deployment and adoption of Talent & Culture business processes with regional and local customization as needed.
  • Prioritizing, designing, and communicating the global strategy for each end‑to‑end business process.
  • Establishing SLAs and metrics in partnership with Regional Leaders and the Global Shared Services team.
  • Building and fostering a team to facilitate execution of global Talent & Culture business process strategies.
  • Collaborating with Talent & Culture leaders to establish best‑in‑class strategy and practices for delivering employee programs.
  • Aligning and leveraging cross‑process opportunities with a focus on enhancing effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Acting as a key stakeholder to foster an employee‑centric culture and continuously monitor business needs.

Job Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant human resources experience in positions such as Global Leader, Talent Acquisition Programs, HR Operations & GSS Manager, HR Business Partner, or equivalent.
  • Project Management Professional certification.
  • 5 years of experience with mentoring and coaching.
  • 5 years of experience in HR data‑driven work using Power BI or Tableau.
  • 5 years of experience in Workday administration, reports, security, and power user experience.
  • 5 years of experience in project management and managing cross‑location projects.
  • 5 years of experience in process governance & enhancement for multi‑location projects.
  • 5 years of experience in knowledge management in Confluence and ServiceNow.
  • 3 years of experience using Asana as a project management board.
  • 3 years of experience in employee service platform implementation in ServiceNow.
  • 3 years of experience with Microsoft PowerApps automation skills.
  • 2 years of experience in intranet platform implementation.
  • 2 years of experience leading focus groups within a business team.
  • Experience with Excel analysis, coaching, and Macro development.
  • Unrestricted right to work in the U.S.

Base Salary: $156,458 - $170,000
