Global Media Manager
Reports to: Senior Director, Global Media

The Global Media Manager is responsible for developing and executing global media strategies across a portfolio of brands, ensuring media investments align with business objectives and drive measurable growth.

Reporting to the Senior Director, Global Media, this role serves as a key strategic partner to Global Marketing, Digital, Influencer, PR, Ecommerce, and Brand teams, helping to maximize media effectiveness, consumer engagement, and return on investment across global and local markets. The position manages critical relationships with media agencies, digital platforms, analytics teams, and performance marketing partners to deliver innovative, best-in-class media solutions and ensure strong execution.

A core responsibility of the role is leading media performance measurement, analytics, and investment tracking, including campaign evaluation, competitive spend analysis, audience insights, and post-campaign reporting. The Global Media Manager collaborates closely with Analytics Excellence, Consumer Market Insights, and Data Analytics teams to ensure data integrity, actionable insights, and continuous optimization of media investments.

The role also oversees media planning governance, investment monitoring, compliance standards, and the adoption of global media best practices across markets. Additionally, the position supports capability building and knowledge sharing throughout the organization while identifying and implementing first-to-market innovations that strengthen brand performance and advance media excellence worldwide.

THE ROLE

In this role you will be responsible for:

Global Media Strategy & Leadership

• Develop and implement the Global Media strategy across all platforms and designated brands.
• Support Global Marketing teams to scale worldwide investments for strategic planning and, where relevant, challenge market discrepancies.
• Collaborate internally with Brand Marketing teams to ensure Media is a contributor to brand growth and ROI.
• Oversee DTC brands Kylie Cosmetics & Philosophy, collaborating with key global and local stakeholders to ensure local market strategies and plans align with global guidelines.
• Contribute to first-to-market innovation opportunities across digital partners.

Analytics, Data & Performance

• Be responsible for owning key relationships across Analytics Excellence & Performance.
• Accountable for delivering against business goals and objectives, ensuring the best possible ROI.
• Continually communicate and evaluate progress against key metrics while identifying opportunities to optimize performance.

• Support the Global Media team in tracking worldwide media plans and investments, conducting strategic assessments and identifying discrepancies where relevant.
• Manage media investment budgets across luxury American heritage brands and deliver investment recap reporting.

• Partner with the Data Analytics team to ensure the quality of competitive spend reporting and support data QA and evaluation processes utilizing internal tools and dashboards.
• Develop and execute ongoing media, competitive, and performance presentations for brands and leadership teams, providing reporting and education.
• Develop global post-campaign analyses to support 360 Global Marketing, Digital, Influencer Marketing, and PR teams.
• Collaborate closely with the Consumer Market Insights team to understand audiences and evaluate campaign performance through Share of Market (SOM) trends.

Agency & Partner Management

• Be responsible for owning key relationships across all media sectors and key digital partners.
• Maintain strong relationships and collaboration with the Media Agency of Record and digital performance agencies for DTC brands.
• Serve as the global relationship lead for the performance media agency across DTC brands, working closely with DTC Media and Procurement to drive agency partnership, performance, and strategic alignment.
• Collaborate closely with Influencer and Digital Marketing teams on the development and execution of paid, owned and earned communication strategies.

Governance, Operations & Capability Building

• Oversee governance of global media planning tools and resources for American brands and ensure local market compliance.
• Lead community best-practice sessions to drive knowledge sharing, capability building, and adoption of media excellence standards across markets.
• Collaborate with key centralized functions including Marketing, Digital, PR/Influencer, and Ecommerce to ensure alignment and integrated execution across initiatives.

 QUALIFICATIONS

We'd love to see candidates who have:

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• 4-year Undergraduate Degree in Marketing, Media or Related Field
• 7+ years in media with agency background and significant time spent in media strategy across all media channels (but especially CTV and Digital)
• Managed media budgets across multiple brands/sub-brands, client or agency side
• Strong knowledge of digital media landscape and current/emerging platforms & technologies
• Substantial experience with digital media strategy and activation to build synergies with Ecom and Eretail teams
• Skilled with numbers including Microsoft Excel expertise and analytical mindset
• Global and beauty experience appreciated
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills, ability to present to leadership
• Track record of creating and executing a Global Media strategy answering business objectives
• Strong understanding of the KPIs to optimize media performance
• Experience coordinating across cross-functional teams
• Demonstrate out-of-the-box thinking in approaching new and innovative ways of executing
• Experience in a dynamic, matrix organization
• Experience in growing strong partnerships with key digital players
• Active learner who is willing to experiment and be open minded to new ideas and technology
• Experience developing and delivering presentations to various audience levels within an organization

Base Salary Range: $ (95-115k)
