Position

This position is responsible for elevating the brand's retail standards by enhancing the sales and service excellence of our luxury showrooms in North America. This role designs, delivers, and implements comprehensive, globally aligned training programs focused on Longchamp's Universe, covering product knowledge, selling ceremony and essential brand fundamentals. Working collaboratively with boutiques and head office stakeholders, the Learning and Development Manager drives consistent brand messaging and ensures an exceptional client journey.


Job responsibilities

  • Organize,      deliver, and monitor the training programs or projects according to the      training schedule for retail teams.
  • Deliver      corporate training programs and development activities in line with global      guidance to maintain the high values and standards of la Maison.
  • Follow      up closely on retail performance outcomes to identify areas for      improvement and provide ongoing support to drive excellence.
  • Act as      a strategic business supporter by aligning training action plans with      retail business directions and strategic goals.
  • Nurture      category expertise and styling skills to enhance the depth and impact of      field coaching.
  • Organize      field coaching sessions to ensure that new hires and managers successfully      apply their training on the sales floor.
  • Guarantee      the application of la Maison standards and procedures in accordance with      the brand strategy and core values.
  • Monitor      and organize field coaching to make sure that each new sales associate or      boutique/concession management team has followed the training adapted on      the field.
  • Monitor      the level of service/Sales KPI by analyzing outcomes to identify areas for      improvement and further development.
  • Conduct      regular boutique visits to assess training needs, observe performance, and      provide on-the-job coaching feedback.
  • Partner      with central teams to refine training materials and optimize programs to      better suit the local market needs.
  • Follow      up and update the training administrative tasks 

Requirements

  Job Profile:


  • Minimum      10 years' working experience in retail including training experience
  • Luxury      retail experience is preferred
  • Mobility      to make frequent business trips to various retail locations as required in      North America.
  • Motivated      by people and able to inspire people to adapt and deliver brand value
  • Excellent      communication skills, presentation, and facilitation skills
  • Self-motivated      and proactive independent, player who also thrives as a collaborative team      member with a creative mindset
  • Familiar      with MS office, PowerPoint, Excel and Technological Savy 


 Salary Description $145,000 to $165,000
