With 40+ international locations and products sold in more than 125 different countries, Samtec's global presence enables its unmatched customer service.
Summary/Objective: Lead global Signal Integrity test lab operations for R&D and engineering development. 2. Manage direct reports; set expectations, assign work, mentor associates, support career development, and build succession depth within the lab organization.
  3. Own technical governance for lab methods, measurement procedures, instrumentation readiness, calibration discipline, fixture practices, documentation, data integrity, and report quality.
  4. Establish and enforce common lab processes for sample intake, queue management, test planning, execution, review, documentation, and release of results.
  5. Drive cross-site consistency, repeatability, throughput, and measurement-simulation correlation for high-speed electrical test activity.
  6. Partner with engineering, operations and product owners to plan lab capability, capacity, and equipment roadmaps.
  7. Evaluate, recommend, and implement approved lab technologies, automation, dashboards, tools, and process improvements that improve quality, cycle time, and scalability.
  8. Review and approve significant test plans, methods, acceptance criteria, and reports for high-impact R&D and engineering development programs.

  3. Deep understanding of high-speed electrical test instrumentation, measurement methodology, calibration, fixtures, sample handling, data quality, and test-report governance.
  4. Demonstrated experience creating and enforcing lab operating standards, technical workflows, metrics, dashboards, equipment roadmaps, and continuous-improvement practices across multiple locations.
  5. Strong technical communication, cross-functional leadership, prioritization, vendor/equipment coordination, and written/verbal communication skills.
