Inventory Control Clerk | $23–$27/Hour | 1st Shift | Temp-to-Hire

Job Description
We are partnering with a leading oil services company that provides inflatable packers and other downhole tools to the oil and gas industry to hire an experienced Inventory Control Clerk. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring materials and products are properly received, stored, identified, issued, and shipped. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, computer literate, and experienced with SAP and inventory management. This is an excellent opportunity to join a global oil and gas supplier with opportunities for continued learning and career development.

Responsibilities:
  • Compile and maintain records related to MRP, ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, cycle counting, and shipping materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.
  • Research inventory discrepancies, compare physical counts to on-hand values, and make necessary corrections.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy, product identification, and location programs.
  • Track and report non-conforming products and ensure all labeling requirements are completed accurately and on time.
  • Assist with material handling as needed and maintain inventory accuracy metrics and reports for management.

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 5+ years of inventory experience required.
  • SAP experience required.
  • Must be computer literate and comfortable working with inventory systems and reports.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. as part of the job function.
  • Must be able to pass the forklift certification test and operate a forklift daily.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen.
