The Lucid Motors Global Risk & Insurance Division is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager, Global Insurance.

The primary responsibility of this position is to oversee and manage certain aspects of the risk financing and insurance programs for the Company.

Reporting to the Director, Global Risk & Insurance, the individual in this position will support the departments’ objective of protecting Lucid’s operations globally in a cost-effective manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal and external customers for insurance and risk management related needs or inquiries;
  • Support development and execution of insurance and risk management strategies related to the design, negotiation and implementation of certain insurance programs for Lucid Motors globally;
  • Assist in the identification of risk within the organization and support the business in determining appropriate risk financing alternatives;
  • Support, and in certain cases lead, the annual insurance renewal process including the collection of exposure data and review of terms and conditions;
  • Review contracts and other agreements to determine alignment and compliance with the company’s risk appetite and insurance programs;
  • Oversee and manage claims emanating from the company’s operations and evaluate insurance coverage applicability;
  • Work with Lucid’s insurance broker(s) to determine insurance and risk financing program design and needs, globally;
  • Support preparation and management of the annual insurance budget.
Required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Proven ability to apply insurance and risk management techniques in the identification, assessment, measurement, mitigation and monitoring of exposures that may threaten the organization;
  • Demonstrated ability to understand business drivers and develop goals and strategies accordingly;
  • Ability to effectively communicate across all levels of an organization and outside company boundaries;
  • Proven track record in negotiation, diplomacy and communications skills in furtherance of business goals;
  • Proven track record in providing consultative services to internal and external stakeholders;
  • Experienced team leader as well as an effective team member, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects;
  • Demonstrated financial/fiscal responsibility including budget management and analytical capability;
  • 8-10 years professional experience in risk management and/or insurance industry;
  • Thorough understanding and working knowledge of the domestic and foreign insurance programs and markets;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business, Finance or related field.
Preferred
  • Associate in Risk Management or CPCU designations
