Job description

The Global Cyber Security Senior Business Analyst is responsible for appropriately applying business analysis tools and techniques to enable project success within the Global Cyber Security PMO  team. This role involves the ability to translate business objectives into system requirements using analysis and modeling tools on behalf of cybersecurity projects. The Global Cyber Security Senior Business Analyst will work closely with Cyber Security Senior Project Managers, Cybersecurity domains and IT departments to support the evaluation of business needs and translate into project direction and priorities. The ideal candidate will have in depth understanding of the project life cycle and be proficient in the appropriate project tools (Clarity for example) and approach to effectively document requirements, specifications while ensuring alignment to project goals and objectives, user needs and technical feasibility.  The candidate will also be required to demonstrate strong problem solving skills and have the ability to analyze data and communicate effectively to various stakeholder groups. 

Essential Functions:

Governance & PMO Operations Support 

  • Perform project audits and compliance reviews

  • Support PMLC governance processes

  • Support risk, issue, and action item management processes

  • Assist in maintaining PMO polices procedures, and standards                                                                        

Business Analysis support for Global Cybersecurity Projects

  • Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements for global cybersecurity projects 

  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops and requirements sessions

  • Create Business Requirements Documents, process maps, and workflow diagrams

  • Conduct gap analysis, impact assessments, and process improvement initiatives

  • Translate business needs into functional requirements and system enhancements                                                                        

PPM Tool Support

  • Administer and maintain Clarity PPM configuration and data integrity

  • Manage security access, OBS structures, lookups, attributes, and blueprints

  • Troubleshoot user issues and coordinate vendor support when required

  • Perform data quality reviews and corrective actions

  • Support system upgrades, testing, integrations and enhancement initiatives

  • Develop and maintain Clarity training materials and user documentation

Reporting & Analytics

  • Monitor data quality and reporting accuracy

  • Analyze trends and provide recommendations for process improvements

  • Maintain PMO SharePoint sites, SOPs, training materials and governance artifacts

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across portfolio management processes           

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related discipline

  • Fluent in English, with strong communication skills

  • At least 3-5 years of experience of proven business analysis or systems analysis experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Experience with analytical or project management tools such as Clarity, Power BI, data visualization tools, Tableau, Visio, or other applicable PPM tools. 

  • Strong foundational skills in business process modeling, critical thinking, and the ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.

Physical Demands: Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.

Travel: No or very little travel likely

Work Conditions: Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.

This position is classified as "in-office."  As an in-office role, it requires employees to work from a designated Carnival office in South Florida Monday through Thursday each week. Employees may work from their homes on Fridays.  Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area.
