The Law, Policy, and Integrity team at TelevisaUnivision is looking for a Global Compliance Manager to join our team!

TelevisaUnivision's Global Compliance program is dedicated to promoting an organizational culture of ethical business conduct and a commitment to compliance with the law. In this highly visible Company-wide role, the Global Compliance Manager will play a pivotal role in maintaining our company's commitment to ethical and legal business practices.

The Manager will report to the head of Global Compliance and will work in close collaboration with other colleagues across the Company in the United States and Mexico. The Manager will be based in Miami, Florida, and will engage in a diverse range of responsibilities.

ABOUT YOU:

You have a well-rounded background in corporate compliance programs, demonstrating expertise in the development and management of these programs. You are a strong communicator who excels at conveying complex compliance concepts in a clear and understandable manner.

YOUR DAY-DAY: (aka Responsibilities)

  • Program Development and Management: Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of compliance policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Policy Drafting and Communication: Draft clear and comprehensive compliance policies and procedures. Effectively communicate these policies across all levels of the organization.
  • Compliance Training: Develop and manage compliance training programs. Utilize learning management systems (experience with Workday Learning is a plus) to deliver and track compliance training across the organization.
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct regular compliance risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address identified risks, considering jurisdiction-specific requirements.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Regularly monitor compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Report on compliance initiatives and challenges to senior management, including tracking trends from internal reports and investigations to identify systemic risks and recommend remediation actions. Ensure appropriate handling of sensitive and personal data, in coordination with Data Privacy and Information Security teams.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with various departments to ensure that compliance considerations are integrated into business processes.
  • Internal Investigations and Case Management: Lead and support internal investigations related to ethics and compliance matters (including reports received through whistleblower channels). Ensure cases are properly documented, investigated in a timely manner, and escalated as appropriate. Coordinate with Legal, HR, and other stakeholders to ensure consistent and defensible outcomes. Maintain investigation records in line with applicable legal and regulatory expectations.
  • Special projects: Support the department's objectives, engaging in a diverse range of responsibilities across different jurisdictions, as applicable, ensuring alignment with local legal and regulatory requirements.

YOU HAVE: (aka Qualifications)

  • Proven experience in corporate compliance program management. Experience in building and managing comprehensive compliance programs, including drafting policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Demonstrated experience in program management, with the ability to lead projects and initiatives effectively.
  • Experience leading and supporting compliance investigations.
  • Experience managing learning management systems. Workday Learning is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree in law, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certifications in compliance (e.g., CCEP) would be an advantage.
  • In-depth understanding of legal compliance frameworks and best practices in a corporate setting.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office products, especially PowerPoint and Excel
  • Must be bilingual English/Spanish
