Banquet Server (Hourly)

Banquet Servers support private and large-scale events at The Attic at Waterman’s, Festival on 8th, The Shack, and select off-site venues. This role is primarily evenings, weekends, and holidays, scheduled based on event needs.


Key Responsibilities

Event Preparation & Set Up

  • Arrive punctually at the venue, prepared and ready to work at scheduled times.
  • Prepare event spaces by completing opening side work, including cleaning windows, wiping banisters, restrooms, and other common areas.
  • Set up tables, chairs, linens, glassware, and service stations according to the Banquet Event Order (BEO).
  • Ensure all glassware, silverware, and service items are clean, polished, and properly stocked.

Service & Guest Experience

  • Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
  • Maintain a high standard of fine dining and banquet service throughout the event.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the food and beverages being served and answer guest questions confidently.
  • Assist the Special Events Supervisor with food displays and buffet setup, ensuring presentation meets company standards.
  • Monitor guest needs throughout the event and respond promptly and courteously.

Venue Standards & Side Work

  • Keep event spaces clean, organized, and well-stocked during service.
  • Complete assigned side work during and after events to support smooth operations.
  • Break down and reset venues efficiently following events, leaving spaces clean and ready for the next function.

Schedule & Availability

  • Evening, weekend, and holiday availability required
  • Scheduled based on event needs
  • Must be available for large-scale events and holiday weekends
Requirements:

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in event setup, food service, or hospitality preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service practices.
  • Physical ability to lift and move equipment and supplies as needed.
