Job Summary
Water's Edge Banquet Center is hiring part-time Event Barbacks/Support Staff to keep our events running smoothly! This role is perfect if you're looking for flexible hours, extra income, and a fast-paced job where you stay active. You'll help behind the bar by keeping glassware clean and stocked, support bartenders, and assist with setting up and breaking down events. No experience? No problem - we'll train you!
Key Responsibilities
  • Wash, sanitize, and restock beverage glassware throughout events.
  • Assist bartenders by replenishing beverages, garnishes, ice, and other supplies while keeping bar areas clean and organized.
  • Set up and break down ceremony chairs according to event layouts.
  • Move tables, chairs, linens, and equipment as part of event setup and teardown.
  • Support event staff with additional duties to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical capability to lift, carry, bend, and stand for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Reliability and punctuality are essential.
  • Previous porter, barback, or event setup experience a plus, but not required.
