Job description

Window Service Technician - ROC396 (2008319)

Monday-Friday

8:30am-5:00pm

$25.00 per hour

EXPERIENCE NEEDED!

Job Summary

Window service technicians are responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of windows at various customer properties, both indoors and outdoors. This position may require the use of a lift to reach windows not accessible at ground level.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Removing dirt and grime from windows and glass surfaces using a non-abrasive glass cleaning solution, water, and rubber squeegee blades inside and out of commercial properties.
  • Determining whether window glass is clear, reflective, or tinted, and adapting window cleaning techniques accordingly.
  • Use power washer to clean commercial sites.
  • Using a scrim or microfiber cloth to dry around the edges of the glass.
  • Using cloth to remove excess water and moisture from windowsills.
  • Ensuring that all window cleaning and lift equipment are in good working order.
  • Operating aerial lift platforms and other lift equipment to reach the windows of high-rise buildings.
  • Dust & clean hard to reach areas using ladders, poles, lifts and other aerial devices.
  • Appropriately cleaning up after each job to ensure that there is no residue or dirt left behind.
  • Travel to different account locations to perform duties.
  • Resupply/restock and supplies as needed
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and established procedures
  • Maintain company standards and programs for safety and security
  • Maintain productivity levels at or above company standards with minimal supervision
  • Treat all co-workers with fairness, dignity, and respect
  • Maintain good communication with your supervisor and other employees
  • Provide outstanding customer service
  • Communicate any needed supplies, repairs, safety concerns, and/or maintenance work needed to your supervisor
  • Maintain the quality of performance of all specific duties and responsibilities assigned
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a janitorial or custodial role preferred
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and safe handling procedures
  • Ability to follow safety guidelines and use protective equipment
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
  • Good organization and time-management skills
  • Valid driver's license with a clean abstract

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to traverse work site and transport equipment used for completing job functions
  • Ability to position self to reach areas both below waist level to the floor and above their head
  • Ability to effectively communicate with management and coworkers
  • Ability to detect, observe, and inspect work areas to identify potential opportunities and concerns.
  • Ability to transport up to 50lbs through work site as needed
  • Ability to handle exposure to cleaning chemicals, dust, and other potential irritants
  • Must meet minimum age requirements
